100% Plant-Derived Squalane

AMAZING HYDRATION!!! Love that it is ONLY 1 ingredient! And that is all it needs. Amazing hydration with no oily feeling. I have been using for over 5 years, am now 50. Use it morning and night. My favorite way to use is mixing with a scoop of the 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder at night and apply to my face, mostly cheeks and upper chest area, to help reduce uneven skin tone. My 25 old daughter has been using for years and my 13 year old daughter just started using! It is now a FAMILY THING…I just wish The Ordinary was around when I was their age:)

I'm obsessed with this oil. I've been using it for about a year on my face whenever I needed extra moisture, or whenever my skin was inflamed. It absorbed beautifully and helped improve the overall quality of the skin on my face. Recently I've actually begun to put it on my scalp as well. I've suffered from seborrheic atitis for my entire life, and the shampoos to control it are often very drying - leaving me with an itchy dry scalp. I find it too heavy for face. So I only use it after harsh peeling/exfoliation etc. Or after very cold and dry weather. It smoothes and protects very well. But I think it doesn't help with congestion.However I use it on my scalp and for my hair and it works wonders. I have dry itchy scalp and this product ends up with hydrated scalp in the morning. I sometimes end up with flakey parts on my head due to excessive itchyness and this product helps to ease them.

I have bought plant-derived squalene in the past but the last time I ordered I was delighted to find/try the lighter alternative of hemi-squalene. I was looking forward to purchasing it again but now find it's not available. After trying hemi, regular squalane just doesn't measure up! Hemi squalane was perfect for my skin and hair, even with just one drop I find plant derived squalane too thick for my fine hair and dehydrated acne prone skin. After trying the multi-purpose, well working routine staple hemi squalane, I can't go back to the regular kind. Please consider bringing back hemi squala…

I live in Calgary which is incredibly dry and has very unpredictable weather from chinooks, and after seeing a review from someone else in the area as well as owning other products from the company I caved and bought it. My skin is super dry and sensitive, and I was worried that I'd react to it, but I've been using it for weeks now and my skin has never looked better.
