Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA

I have been struggling for years and having mature skin and different tone on face against the neck makes me feel sad as I have um even tone. However, I saw a review of a atologist on this brand and product and I thought of giving a try and it was the best choice ever. I combine with other things but this product makes a real change. Only used this a for a short time before I switched up my routine, but planning on re-introducing it since it made my skin tone very bright and even. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't have HA in it. Not sure if the HA is for formulation/stability or just because they want to add HA, but I use other serums with HA and am trying to limit how much HA I'm using at the same time. Just don't think it needs to be in everything.

I really liked this product, but now it smells like onions? It's really off putting. I preferred the previous formula as the color change didn't bother me. Not sure the smell is something I can get used to.

I’ve also been trying to combat some sun damage and fade freckles from living in sunny South Florida. This serum has been a nice addition to my night time skincare routine. It’s plenty hydrating with the hylauronic acid, and doesn’t aggravate my face even if I use it following actives such as retinol or glycolic acid. I am currently on my fourth bottle but this has hardly made a drastic change for my hyperpigmentation. However I love the fact that it does not irritate my skin at all. I will keep repurchasing and hoping it clears my hyperpigmentation ..

I just bought the Alpha Arbutin yesterday and applied it for the very first time last night. I woke up with visibly faded pigmentation on most of my dark spots (leftover from a breakout to a cosmetic my skin hated) and overall brighter looking skin. So far, I’ve been very happy with every Ordinary product I’ve tried. For the first time I’m able to build a skin care regimen that not only works, but doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. And all for a reasonable cost

I’ve been using this product almost every morning and evening together with the Vitamin C + HA product. It is clearly working, just not as fast as I expected. Hope it keeps on working.
