Skin type: Aging, combination/normal. Love it. Big difference when I put it on and use it nightly vs when I don’t. When I don’t use it, my skin feels bumpy and rough. When I do, my face feels baby soft in the morning. For me the moisturizing effects are what I notice most. It seeps into my skin easily and has never caused a breakout. I used another botanical brand’s (TH) face oil which included Rose Hip Seed oil as an ingredient. Liked it a lot but expensive so gave this a try and never looked back.

If you’re going to buy anything from The Ordinary, buy this oil. I have fairly normal leaning towards oily skin and use this oil nightly to finish my skin care routine (layering lactic acid and hyaluronic acid underneath). It keeps all that wonderful moisture in and provides awesome ingredients like Vit. A, which had anti-aging benefits. It doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin, although it’s definitely present when I touch my face. That doesn’t bother me since I wear it at night and wash off the excess in the morning. It hasn’t made my skin any oilier or caused me to breakout whatsoever, and is…
I think the product is great. Nice rich almost orange colour. I use it in my hair as well. I wish your Vitamin C was actually made with THD to make the product stable and effective
Great for using with a guasha and massaging the face. I use it at my spa when I do facials.
I am quite shocked at some of the bad reviews. Especially the ones that say the smell of this oil is unbearable because I’ve been using this for 2 years and from the first use it has a teeeeny weeeeny hint of a smell but it’s literally unnoticeable! it’s honestly such a great oil. I use at night and by morning my skins soaked it up. There is no stains on my hands or bed linen. I have dry skin and it’s really helped with that. I urge those of you with dry skin to try it. A few drops go a long way. I sometimes combine it with the “B” oil for additional richness!
I'd been thinking about trying this for some months. I already use buffet and niacinamide, one in the morning and the other at night before bed. I wanted something to mix with the serum drops. It's lovely, very moisturising and not very greasy. I've noticed an improvement in my jawline and neck area texture too after just a few weeks.
The Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil is my favorite oil to use! It feels so nice on my skin when I apply it and leaves my skin feeling supple and moisturized. It sinks in easily and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. This oil has an earthy smell but it’s not unpleasant or strong. My favorite way to use this oil is by mixing it in with my moisturizer and then applying to my face. I’m a big fan of the Rosehip Seed Oil and will always use it in my routine!
I have dry skin and this is a perfect oil to keep my skin soft and healthy, specially during winter.
